How to pay

When are you open?

We're open 6 days a week from 8:00am - 5:00pm. We will soon be adjusting our closing time as we  begin to introduce evening deliveries soon. 

How much does it cost?
Between ZMW 20 to ZMW55 depending on delivery distance.

Should I tip the driver?
This is left to you as a customer.

How can I pay?
We accept Cash, FNB E-Wallet, BARCLAYS Cash Send and Card payments on delivery. No personal cheques are acceptable. 

Is there a minimum amount I have to spend to order?
No, order as little or as much as you would like and we will deliver.

What kind of restaurant do you have under your services?
We have a wide variety of culinary selections you will be spoilt for choice. We have numerous restaurants on Ubuntu Meal Delivery Services limited 's list (and growing fast!).You can choose from Chinese, Indian, Italian, Local, French and many more.

The food I ordered is unacceptable. How do I get a refund?
Ubuntu Meal Delivery Services limited provides an easy way for you to order your takeaways online, we are not responsible for the preparation/cooking or presentation of the food. If you're unhappy with the quality of the food, you can contact us and we can contact the takeaway on your behalf to inform them of your dissatisfaction, and to see what they will offer you in compensation otherwise refunds are not offered for such cases as we are not held liable for the preparation or presentation of the food. Can we customize our order and not strictly based on menu?
Unfortunately, you are not able to customize your order on our platforms but if you call when placing your order we will be able to notify the restaurants of the special requirements. Acceptance of your requirements is at the sole discretion of the restaurants who then adjust your order accordingly. 

How do I know if my order got through?
You will receive a confirmation email from us, stating the orders you have selected and the time it will take to be delivered to you. We will also send you a SMS to keep you updated once the restaurant has confirmed your order. 

If the delivery is late, do I get some discount?
Depending on the nature of the order we strive to deliver orders within 30-45 minutes unless otherwise advised by the restaurant at which time we will communicate with you to inform you of the reasons for delay. If delivery is delayed due to faults with Ubuntu Meal Delivery Services Limited we waive the delivery charge.

I forgot my username. Or my password. Or both. What now?
Your username is often the email address you would have used to register your account. As for the password, you can click the “Forgot My Password” link and we’ll get you sorted out. If you still need a reminder of that username, the “Forgot Username” button and the fields that pop up when you click it will trigger an email reminder of that name.

Can I have two accounts with the same email address?
Unfortunately, no. Because that email is tied to your username, you can only have one account per email address.

Can I save multiple addresses? Like “home,” “work,” and “future husband’s”?
Yes. Any address you use to place an order will be saved to your account. You can even label each one to make things easier. And if things don’t work out with “future husband,” you can delete any stored addresses by clicking your name in the top right corner of the page (make sure you’re logged in, of course!).

Can I combine orders from a list of restaurants?
You can order from more than one restaurant but unfortunately such orders will take longer 45 minutes to deliver. 

Is your site secure? How can I be sure?
Our website is secure and uses the latest technology to encrypt your information. We have a customer care department that makes sure every order goes out to the restaurant correctly so, no fear, we will take good care of your internet order. 

I want food from a restaurant but its not on your list? How can I order?
You can call us to let us know the location of the restaurant or contact number for the restaurant with the order details. We will then endevour to include the restaurant and its menu in our service. 

I want food from a restaurant but want to pick up the order? Can I order through Ubuntu Meal Delivery Services?
No. Ubuntu Meal Delivery Services Limited is strictly a delivery services and shall not be used for the purpose of placing orders unless it is to be delivered.

Can I save special delivery instructions to my address?
